Simply unpack the stand and tighten the base screw, then just pick the stand up, and the legs will automatically fall vertical, meaning you can manoeuvre easily around obstacles or crowded rooms without catching the stand legs everywhere, or needing to collapse the stand completely.
When you get to the next site, simply put the stand down again, and the legs automatically open out to create a stable base - A simple single handed operation.
