Showroom and Studio Rental

 		 \Studio Decor's rental studio is approximately 35'x14' at its maximum, and set in a peaceful rural location in West Dorset over half a mile from the nearest county road. There is ample secure parking immediately adjacent to the studio for up to ten cars, and access for wheelchairs is excellent.

A separate changing and make up room has been added, where there is ample seating, including a single and a double sofa bed also for use in the studio if required.

It is also suitable for small masterclasses on all aspects of studio photography, and access is also available by negotiation to some 60 acres of beautiful rolling Dorset Countyside, including woodland and grassland. Much of this is extremely private and away from the general public.

Catering and accommodation can also be arranged.

The range of Studio Decor props and backgrounds can also be viewed by arrangement: Visitors strictly by appointment please.

The studio is equipped with a 2.7m (9 foot) background set, and 2.7m x 2.7m canvasses can be hired. A small selection of 2.7x6m canvasses may also be available (subject to stock)

There is also a selection of up to 10no 1.8mx2.4m backgrounds available included in the hire.

Basic Hire price includes:

  • Use of studio, power and other utilities, including kettle!
  • Use of Two head Elinchrom Style 300S set, and Bowens Prolite and fittings
  • Use of 6x8 background set (backgrounds included)
  • Use of 9'Background set (1 Background included)
  • Full length black and white backgrounds
  • 4 piece 'Ideal' posing kit

    • BASIC HIRE PRICE ( as at 1st October 2003) : £15 plus £10 per hour for the first three hours, then £8 per hour thereafter up to 8 hours total.

    Full day (8 hours) - £75

    Guide to rental charges for props & backgrounds

    Backgrounds - 12.5% of List price

    Additional posers - 10% of list price

    Props - 20% of list price

    Furniture (subject to stock) 7.5% of list price.

    Please ask for a complete package either on booking or on arrival.

    All hires are subject to security deposits and on the basis of all damage being chargeable. These rates apply only to hires on site at this studio. Studio Decor do not hire items for off-site use.
