LuxS Studio Rental

Studio Decor's rental studio is approximately 30'x33' at its maximum, and set in a peaceful rural location in West Dorset over half a mile from the nearest county road. There is ample secure parking immediately adjacent to the studio for up to five cars, and access for wheelchairs is excellent through a roller shutter door which also offers the possibility of vehicle access up to Transit van size.

There is a separate and secure changing and make up room complete with lit mirror and hanging space.

There is ample worktop provided, and numerous sockets around the room.

 

Catering and accommodation can also be arranged.

The range of Studio Decor props and backgrounds can also be viewed by arrangement: Visitors strictly by appointment please. If you wish to do some test shoots of stock backgrounds, please let us know in advance, and we will ensure the studio is ready for you on arrival.

The studio is equipped with a 2.7m (9 foot) background set, and 2.7m x 2.7m canvasses can be hired. A small selection of 2.7x6m canvasses may also be available (subject to stock)

There is also a selection of up to 10no 1.8mx2.4m backgrounds available included in the hire.

Basic Hire price includes:

• Use of studio, power and other utilities, including kettle!

• Use of 4 no heads Elinchrom BXRi 500 set, and a range of fittings. Reserve heads.

• Use of 6x8 background set (Miscellaneous backgrounds included)

• Use of 9'Background set (Full length white, black, plain coloured and mottled backgrounds included)

• Full length black fabric background with stands and crosspole

• 4 piece 'Ideal' posing kit

BASIC STUDIO HIRE PRICE ( as at 1st July 2011) :

£25 for the first hour, then £15 per hour for next three hours, then £10 per hour thereafter up to a maximum charge of the day rate.

Full day - £100

Guide to rental charges for additional props & backgrounds

Stock Backgrounds - 12.5% of List price (nb Hire backgrounds HERE are available at 30% below normal Hire rates for use on site during rental sessions)

Additional posers - 10% of list price

Paper backgrounds (colorama) - 2.74m width - £4.50/m - stock colours only. Others (order in advance only) £7/m

Props - 20% of list price

Furniture (subject to stock) 7.5% of list price.

All hires are subject to security deposits and on the basis of all damage being chargeable. These rates apply only to hires on site at this studio. Studio Decor do not hire items for off-site use.
